GHL Wet Type Granulator
Description:
GHL high-speed mixing granulator is the highly-efficient equipment used for mixing different
powdery materials and making granules in one process. It is widely used in pharmaceutical,
food, chemical and other industries.
 
Operating principle:
Put all the materials in the cylinder and then add the adhesive after the materials are stirred and
mixed, or put the materials and the adhesive in the cylinder in one go. The powdery material and
the adhesive will be fully mixed by the mixing paddles at the bottom of the cylinder and turned
into the soft and wet material, which will be cut uniformly into wet granules by the high-speed
side cutter.
Double-speed motor drives the reamer to get granules of different sizes, controlling the solubility
of the adhesive, the cutter speed and the time, reaching a high level of distribution, density and
mobility between batches. The equipment functions automatically according to the same program
to ensure the granulation quality of the products.
 
Features:
1. The machine is reasonably structured with the horizontal cylinder structure.
2. The mesh can be easily assembled or disassembled. The tightness of mesh can be adjusted
as well. The roller can be easily disassembled and it is easy to clean. The actuating shaft is
sealed when it is inflated. It can be switched into water during cleaning.
3. The fluidized granulation has the characteristics of near-spherical shape, small diameter, low
density and good fluidity. The granules are uniform in texture and provide the best granular
material for the tabletting process. The small size of the granules helps to keep the grain
boundaries undamaged during the pressing process. It also helps the granules dissolve and
diffuse. The granules made with this method are more loose than the granules pressed by
mesh, but tighter than those made by the boiling granulation.
4. 25% of the adhesive is reduced compared with the traditional process, and the drying time is
shortened.
5. Short granulation time, high efficiency and energy saving. It takes only 2 minutes to dry mix
and 1 to 4 minutes to granulate for each batch. The work efficiency was increased by 4-5 times
compared with the traditional process.
6. All work is done in one sealed container. No dead angle is found inside the equipment. The
process is shortened, following the steps of “dry mix - wet mix - granulation”, which is in line
with GMP regulations.
7. The whole operation follows strict safety protection measures. The mechanical transmission
system is all enclosed in the body, along with a lubrication system to keep the whole machine
running smoothly.
8. Uniform combination can be achieved with no stratification even when there is a large
difference from the main and auxiliary medicinal materials.
