Different with the wet type granulator, The GK-80 dry type granulator directly used the certain composition of crystal water from the raw matrial to extruded it in granule. Haven’t to add any wetting agents like water or ethanol to process it then dry it take a long time. It keeps the quality of material, Also improved the productivity.
 
Dry type granulator are widely used for process with herbal material when pressed by tablet press machine before. The reason is mostly herbal material is vary fluffy and have a poor mobility and compressible. It makes the powder compacts so much difficulty on the tablet press machine directly. So a rework of material by dry type granulator is necessary for makes the herbal tablet.
 




The principle of dry type GK-80 machine is granulating by use of mechanical extrusion. It is fully abided with GMP requirement. The raw material could be filled by the hand or automatic vacuum feeder. Then feed and compression through the screw until to the nip angle between both extrusion wheel and take out as the thin pieces when pressed under the high pressure from both side compression roller. The end going to the granulating system be handled in granule type out through the screen mesh.
